State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) and State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro (R-Hanover Park) invite all seniors to join them for a Senior Expo that will be held on Tuesday, August 20 in Roselle. This exciting event will take place from 9:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the Clauss Rec Center, located at the Roselle Park District, 555 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue, Roselle, IL. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
“We are bringing together over 45 of agencies and organizations that cater to the needs of seniors, and attendees will be able to collect useful information while visiting the booths,” said Sen. Lewis. “We are also collecting non-perishable items for a local food pantry, so I would encourage everyone to look through their kitchen cabinets and bring an item or two that will help local families in need.”
In addition to the vendor booths, seniors will be able to obtain a free State Photo I.D. and attend a Rules of the Road Class that will take place at 9:30 AM. Registration for these two services is required, and those who would like to reserve their spot should call 217-782-9463.
“Hosting the Senior Expo is a wonderful way to connect with our senior community and provide them with essential services and information,” said Rep. Sanalitro. “We look forward to seeing everyone and making this a successful event.”
