State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) and State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) invite the public to join them for a free paper shredding event and food drive on Saturday, May 20, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The event will take place at the Wheaton Park District’s Rice Pool Waterpark parking lot, located at 1777 S. Blanchard Street in Wheaton.
This is a perfect opportunity for community members to dispose of sensitive documents safely and securely while also supporting the Milton Township Food Pantry by donating non-perishable food items. Participants are encouraged to bring their paper items for shredding and unexpired, non-perishable food items for collection.
Please note the following event guidelines:
- No electronics will be accepted for recycling or disposal.
- The event will conclude at noon, or once the truck is at capacity.
- All food donations will directly benefit the Milton Township Food Pantry
- All food items for donation must be unexpired and non-perishable.
Don’t miss this chance to declutter, protect your privacy, and support a great cause. State Representative Amy Grant and State Senator Seth Lewis look forward to welcoming you at the event and thank you in advance for your generosity.
