With a goal of protecting the environment by keeping electronics out of Illinois landfills, State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) and State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) are hosting an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, October 5 in Wheaton.
“This free event will provide our constituents with the perfect opportunity to safely recycle electronic items,” said Lewis. “It is an efficient way for people to dispose of most old, non-functional, or unneeded electronics. More importantly, it keeps these items out of landfills.”
