Senator Seth Lewis to Co-Host Mobile DMV Event in Wheaton

State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) and State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) are hosting the Secretary of State’s Mobile Driver Services team for a mobile SOS event on Saturday, May 10. The 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM event will take place at Sen. Lewis’ and Rep. Grant’s shared legislative office at 416 E. Roosevelt Road (Suite #111) in Wheaton.

“I am pleased to partner with the Secretary of State’s office for an event that provides residents with convenient access to Department of Motor Vehicles staff,” said Sen. Lewis. “A wide variety of vehicle services can be completed at this local event.”

Available services include:

  • REAL I.D.
  • Driver’s License/State I.D. Cards (renewal, replacement, corrections)
  • Free State IDs for seniors age 65+
  • License Plate Renewal Stickers
  • Organ/Tissue Donor Registration
  • Motor Vehicle Registration

Seniors aged 78+ must visit an established Secretary of State Driver Services facility to renew a driver’s license. Payments for services must be made by check, credit card, debit card, or money order. No cash will be accepted.

Registration is required for this event. Those wanting to secure an appointment should email RepGrant.com/Mobile-DMV and fill out the appointment form. Additionally, before coming to the event, attendees are asked to visit the official website for the Illinois Secretary of State to learn about identification requirements for specific services. This is especially important for those seeking a REAL I.D.

“We are happy to provide this service for our shared constituents, and expect to fill every appointment slot,” added Lewis. “I would encourage those who plan to attend not to delay in securing their appointment.”

For additional information or help with pre-registration, please call Sen. Lewis’ office at (630) 349-0645 or contact Abby at amccarthy@sgop.ilga.gov.
